One of the entertainment centers/establishments where I would like to go back is Centerstage, it is a videoke center which rents out a room which can accomodate  10 persons.  The group can stay for 3 hours, and the room comes with videoke and food.   The facility is quite modern that the TV that it uses is flat and mounted to a wall and the sound system is great.  Whenever my friends and I go to that entertainment center, we feel as if our voices become singing/golden voice.  The facility it uses must have magic!

I love the song SHINE by Matt Redman. As Christians, I agree with the songs that we should live for God’s glory and not our’s.  We our destined to be great because God is with us and we have His favor.  See the lyrics of the song below:

During times like this when economy is not good, being frugal and wise is important in shopping.  One of the things that I find being wise is using my card when shopping because it gives me points which when accumulated could be exchanged with items and freebies from the credit card company.  Some credit card companies make partnership with restaurants/fast food chains which would give free cake, pizza, lunch,etc when you spend a certain amount.  You just need to present the printed reciept to the partner establishment to claim the freebies.   Receipts that are being printed are very detailed that it shows the card number, amount and  swipe machine provider.  Printer companies which manufactured reciept printers are quite brilliant such as epson receipt printer, cannon receipt printer, etc.  Such inventions are awesome.

Sometimes thought counts but sometimes it does not. Once needs to know that you are really sincere about thinking of him/her on a special occasion and most of the time personalized gifts work! Gift does not need to be expensive, it needs to be memorable, what counts is the thought that the person made an effort to remember and acted upon it by giving something on a special day, right? Remember the saying, action speaks louder than words…

It took me a long time to decide whether I’d buy laptop or netbook. I considered many factors such as functions, RAM and memory capacity, processor, brand, weight, freebies, durability, etc.  Netbooks are quite attractive because they come in small sizes which you can put in any regular bag and carry wherever you want to, it is lightweight, low cost and can be used to browse email, web, instant message or access files. Netbooks also comes in sleek design.  However, it does not offer the full function of a laptop. One needs to buy external hard drive so that DVD can be played or burned.  You can either choose laptop or netbook depending on its purpose.

As I was readign an old book, topic on pain caught my attention. The book was telling that pain is actually a good indicator which tells the person that something is not in its perfect condition or aperson is not in state of wellness and it means something needs to be done so that damage will not progress. I believe it is applicable not only to the physiological aspect of our body but to the emotion as well. All of us have experienced pain at some point in our life. Let me tell you this – pain is an opportunity for us to be overcomer! So the next time that you feel pain, do something about it, don’t let it defeat you or it will destroy you. Make it an opportunity to be a victor and overcomer.

Sleep is one of the physiological needs of human in order to survive.   Adults need 6-8 hours and children need 8-10 hours sleep everyday.  Getting sufficient sleep is needed so that body can rest and repair itself to function to its optimum level.  Based on circadian rhythm of the body, the best time to sleep is from 10PM onwards and the body would feel fully rested unlike if sleeping is spent on different hours like from dawn til noon.

How does one get restful sleep? It can be achieved by sleeping in a quiet and cool room, free of allergen/ allergy bedding, creating a daily sleeping pattern e.g. the time when you usually sleep, deciding the length of sleep that you would have everyday. Comfortable bed counts too! A friend commented that “sleeping with someone you love also makes for good sleep..perhaps not always restful but certainly lovely when you wake in the morning…”

How do you enjoy having a spa or hot tub bath?  I think it will be more enjoyable to think that your hot tub is clean because spa filter is always clean or regularly replaced with new one.  The frequency of replacing spa filter actually depends on how often you use hot tub or the amount of dirt it has accumulated over time.
