I can’t stop laughing when I read the email from one of my officemates about gay linggo, which are really entertaining and funny. Gays are really creative that they were able to coin new words (neologism in Psych) which is close to the sound of the original words. See some of them and be entertained as well.

I won in a raffle draw for the first time

For the first time, I’ve won a prize from a raffle! I thought I didn’t have luck in raffle draws, I would always join if there is a change, but I don’t expect that I would won until yesterday… It was the last prize to be given to the participants and I was telling my seatmate I don’t have luck in it so I will not be hearing my name. And the draw went on and one of the participants got one of the name tags inside the bag and it was my ID! It was an exciting moment to me. Here is the proof of my winning.

It also has videoke function; therefore I need not buy new song chip for my MagicSing … Winning in a raffle draw is like giving me a lesson that one would always have a chance if s/he allows her/himself..It’s still a matter of choice..Choosing to give yourself a chance to win and you can be a winner…

On watching movies

I don’t watch movies a lot because its price is not affordable nowadays anymore. One movie would cost about Php250 which is already equivalent to 75% daily wage of minimum wage earner! So, i just watch it on DVD which i can borrow from a friend. Recently, I watched ‘Game Plan’ and it was a great movie about a famous athlete, Joe Kingman, who just recently learned that he is a father. Being a celebrity Joe was concerned only about himself, his career and football as his life until he discovered that he is happier as a father to Payton. The movie made me cry. It’s a great movie that one shouldn’t miss, plus the star is a hunk!

On watching the movie, one of the scenes that was shown was Joe Kingman making his healthful shake which contains raw vegetables, whey protein (hey, you can try clicking http://www.proteinpowder.net if you are curious about whey proteins) and other ingredients just for himself. After that scene, when he came to know that he is a father, changed in meal was shown as the two of them eating spaghetti, next scene shake good for the two servings and other adjustments that he made as a father.

I have more movies to watch and it’s fun. I have deprived myself of movies for a long time and I guess it’s time for me to feast on movies

I didn’t know this song until just a minute ago when I saw it posted on my friend’s profile. This song made one drop of tear (yes, only 1 drop!) fell from my left eye …what an encouraging song! God has a grander plan, He knows what’s best and He makes all things work together for good for those who love Him.

One More Chance

Is the title of the heavy dramatic movie that I watched on Saturday. It’s an old movie of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo which I heard is nice so I watched it anyway… Well I didnt know that it was very dramatic LOL but I liked the line which Popoy (John Loyd Cruz) said to his friedn who was very devastated over a break up, which goes something like this “kaya tayo iniiwan ng taong mahal natin kasi ibig sabihin meron taong darating na mas magmamahal at mas karapat-dapat sa atin” (we are being left by the person we love because it means someone who will love us better and more deserving will come). I agree to him, you need to lose someone/something so that better person/things would come.

To those who thinks that it’s the end of the world because you lost someone, look at it in a positive way. The person who broke your heart does not deserve your love, forget him/her (easy to be said than done but you can do it!). You deserve someone better.

Entertainment Centers

One of the entertainment centers/establishments where I would like to go back is Centerstage, it is a videoke center which rents out a room which can accomodate 10 persons. The group can stay for 3 hours, and the room comes with videoke and food. The facility is quite modern that the TV that it uses is flat and mounted to a wall and the sound system is great. Whenever my friends and I go to that entertainment center, we feel as if our voices become singing/golden voice. The facility it uses must have magic!

Plasma TV and plasma mounts

American Idol started Season 9 last week and it was nice to see Simon Cowell back on that show. I love his accent! But I will miss Paula because she would always give comment to the contestants in a positive way. Watching American Idol on TV is really entertaining and I wish I was watching from a plasma TV so that the resolution would be better. :-)

One of my projects for this year is to buy plasma TV and of course mount. However, I am yet to canvass to get the best brand as well price for the item that I will be buying. Looking for plasma TV’s would be easy task, but for plasma mounts, I have yet to find out where to look for that. I can always search from the internet reviews about brands and models of plasma TV’s as well as the appropriate plasma mounts so that when I go to the local stores, I can easily pick the items that I have already decided.
