    I wish…

Posted on: Friday, January 16th, 2009 in: Philippine Schools

There are some time in my life when I come to realization that I made a mistake about the decision I made. One of the regrets that I would like to overcome is transferring to my present school…I don’t like to say the phrase,  “If only I could turn back time, I would… ” because [...]

Today is our school’s pictorial for the graduation come March 2009.  I’m so happy about this pictorial because today I had an opportunity to be a fairy…even for a minute…haha…I also had a photo shot wearing the graduation gown, clinical uniform, and a Filipiniana costume.

Posted on: Friday, November 21st, 2008 in: Nursing, Personal, Philippine Schools, hospital duty

Yesterday, my group had a chance to be given exposure at Medical Intensive Care Unit in a hospital as part of the BSN curriculum.
The moment I stepped in at the ICU ward, I immediately felt the spirit of fear that someone among the patients within the ward might die anytime. This is because almost all [...]

On June 12, 2008, St Bernadette College of Health and Sciences conducted its capping, candlelighting and pinning ceremonies in a church along Mindanao Avenue.  It was a great feeling being a true-blue nursing student.  Although there were some chaos and issues about it but it went well.
Every nursing student is required to undergo capping whether [...]

Posted on: Saturday, April 26th, 2008 in: Philippine Schools, hospital duty

Yesterday was my 4th day of hospital exposure at Bernardino Hospital and I already have several cases (not bad for 4 days). The PRC requires 25 cases for each nursing student before a student can be allowed to take the Nursing board exam.
Bernardino General Hospital is a very busy hospital. Having a duty there is exciting and fun! [...]

Today is my second time to do brisk walk in UP Diliman together with my friend, Winnie.
