I have come across with a friend’s post about the crazy amount that Villar and Aquino has spent for this election.  The article from PCIJ also mentioned the budget of the other 4 presidential candidates.  Pertaining to Villar and Aquino’s budget, the articles says,

As election day is getting closer, lots of streamers, posters, flyers, tarpaulins, door hangers and all kinds of  print advertisements are seen everywhere which makes the community dirtier.  I hope that the politicians who paid to get their faces plastered on walls, trees and streets would also be responsible enough to remove them once election [...]
