There is a saying that you have never been to a certain place if you have not visited its most famous place. Since I have not visited beaches in Bali, I guess, I have never been to Bali, so I should go there again (hehe)… Anyway, I’ve been in Tanah Lot, Bali and I’ve seen it’s most famous place, the Tanah Lot temple, from afar though… I would like to share with you some of my pictures in Le Meredien Nirwana Golf and Spa Resort, Tanah Lot, Bali, Indonesia. Some of you might be interested to know how tawa-tawa helps a dengue patient to recover from the illness and bring back the platelet count to its normal level. I am sorry to tell you that I dont know the mechanisms how tawa tawa works or what is the composition of tawa-tawa that makes it very effective to help dengue patient. However, here are some pictures of tawa-tawa grass which I used to boil and drink the tawa-tawa extract when I had dengue.

Prior to this, I didn’t know how to put my name on pictures using paint program without damaging it . Whenever I write on picture, the background of the texts that I write is usually white, until today, I discovered the proper way to doing it. I would like to commend my clinical instructor (CI), Ms. Nancy Legazpi. She was my group’s CI when we were assigned to render duty/exposure at San Lazaro Hospital. She stood out among the CI’s who handled our group because she showed the real sense of professionalism in the art of nursing Related Learning Experience (RLE) teaching. She utilizes every minute that she is paid and really teaches us well. She even come before the time and starts early so that her students would learn everything there is to learn.

I hope that every CI will do the same because there are many lazy CI’s who do not teach their students. I encountered several of them. I hope that all CI’s should behave like Ms Legazpi.

What is your opinion about sales career?

When I was younger, the least job that I want to be in is sales because I think it was not as lucrative as being a scientist or working in the office possesing a good title.

However, that opinion changed when I began to work because I was exposed to selling. I realized that sales career is better than any other career because you are exposed to different environment; thus, you have more experience to gain. Not to mention, that you also get more income especially when you sell more than the target assigned to you.

Being in sales career, gives you better chance of not just working hard but also working smart plus you are compensated based on your performance. As you work harder and smarter, you get more income, better incentive, bigger network and better life.

Whenever I look for an apartment or dorm to live in, the first thing that I see is the bathroom. There was a 3-day sale of Adidas and Nike at Megatrade Hall 2 (Megamall) on August 29-31. All items were discounted starting 20% to 50% discount. I was able to get 2 Nike and 1 Adidas shirts for my sister which are priced below Php500 (USD12). It’s nice to buy branded items at not-so-expensive price. I also had the opportunity to buy a new Adidas running shoes to replace my lost K-Swiss shoes which I left at taxi last June 2008.

I am ready to resume my walking exercise in UP again.

Feeling disappointed?

That is how I felt the moment my doctor broke the news that my surgery schedule will not push through come September 4. I felt disappointed because I have prepared myself for this but my preparation wouldn’t be used.

But then I was reminded that God intervenes for everything and there is reason for everything that happens. I know that the delay of my surgery has good reason and I will benefit from the the update that my doctor will get from the training. God must have arranged her training so that she can apply to me the latest trend in the surgery.

I don’t feel disappointed anymore, I feel great because I believe God wants me to have the best.
