Every time I go to malls and see those rubber slippers with expensive price tags, I can’t help but to ask myself, “What’s in those slippers to make it so expensive? Does it have an extraordinary material that made it so expensive that will make it last for several years or people are only paying for its brand?”

These expensive slippers are so famous that everyone would like to save his/her hard earned money just to get a pair of slippers.  The first expensive slipper/flip-flop that I encounter is Havaianas, which has price not lower than Php900.  The success of Havaianas lead other flip-flop  brands to be introduced in the market such as Olukai, and many other brands.  As for me, I will only buy things with reasonable price and within my budget.

The only answer that I get Is it because you look cool wearing those slippers because they are expensive
