Nowadays when we travel, we usually buy ticket online to save time and hassle falling in line in airline ticket outlets. All airlines now go e-ticketing to accommodate passengers who want to buy their tickets online.

Traveling in the Philippines via Cebu Pacific Air gives you worry-free travel because you are sure that the electronic ticket that you bought online and printed out can be shown in the airport during your travel schedule and you will given immediately with boarding pass.

When we went to Indonesia in March 2008, Gerard purchased our ticket for Jakarta-Bali-Jakarta via Garuda Indonesia, we thought that it’s already done and we can already travel using the printed ticket. However, upon arriving at Jakarta airport and showing our e-ticket, we were told to go Garuda office so we can be given a paper ticket but to no avail. The staff in the office told us that they cant issue paper ticket unless we pay the fare, so that’s another payment that we have to make. It was frustrating because we expected a hassle-free travel having an e-ticket, but it wasn’t.

I recommend that Garuda Indonesia should adapt a hassle-free online ticket selling just like all the other airlines are doing so that its customers won’t encounter problem checking in the airport.  Garuda have nice service on board though.
