A lot of times we see some messy black things (aka molds) growing in our bathroom especially in between the tiles. It’s not really surprising that we see molds in our bathroom because molds love moist/humid (above 40% humidity) and warm places. Molds are not just ugly to look at, they also cause allergic reaction to people who are sensitive to it which leads to nasal stuffiness, eye irritation, or wheezing.
Molds belong to the family of Fungi, which are filamentous and produces spores. Molds like Cladosporium, Penicillium, Aspergillus, Mucor and Alternaria are just some species of molds that grow indoor.
There are so many ways how you can get rid of molds in your house. You may use mold killer such as fungicide, bleach solution, other commercial products. Other things that you can do is to keep the humidity in your house below 40%, always clean areas where molds are likely to grow, and make sure your house or bathroom has enough ventilation. In these ways, you can avoid the molds to grow. However, if you can’t avoid them from growing, always keep mold killer in your household items.
