Did you know that your body has innate ability to heal itself given the right nutrition that it should have? Research shows that majority of chronic and acute illnesses in this era is associate with bad diet that people are taking. Have you notice the sudden increase in the statistics of people with cancer, diabetes, cardiac disease, high blood pressure, and a lot more diseases? All of them are not associated with genes anymore, but with diet!
What have you been eating lately? A lot of us are so busy now that we already dont have time to prepare our own food that we settle to eat food available in fastfoods, instant foods and preserved food which are ready to eat. Would you eat just for the sake of eating or would you eat to nourish your body?
Here are some list of foods which are excellent source of nutrients that our body needs:
1. Carrots – packed with beta-carotene which helps reduce the risk of skin cancer. it also contains lots of vitamin A, which makes the skin’s surface just acidic enough to resist bacteria.
2. Lean red meat,egg yolks, dried fruit, whole grains – good source of iron which helps you regrow your hair (If you’re experiencing hair fall or your hairline starts to recede or on the start of balding phase.
3. Spinach, brocolli, green leafy vegetables – are excellent source of lutein, which helps maintain the eyes healthy.
4. Apple – good for your heart and skin too.
5. Yoghurt – good for the intestines, and excellent source of calcium which helps your bones stronger
6. Banana – packed with phosphorus to keep you strong and energetic.
