What to do during hot weather

The month of April is the hottest month in Manila with temperature reaching as much as 42 degree centigrade. That is why, it’s not too wise to be exposed directly under the sun.

During hot days, we lose lots of fluid in the body by the process of evaporation through perspiration, and it is just right that we replace the fluids by drinking lots of water. We were taught that we should drink 8-10 glasses or 2 to 3 liters of water everyday. The strategy that I do in order for me to drink at least 2 liters of water everyday is that I drink water from a 1-liter container so that I can measure how much fluid have consumed.

It’s also nice fto always have a towel to pat dry the sweat on the skin so that rashes do not develop, wear cotton clothes with cool colors such as light blue, light green, yellow, baby pink, apply powder and take a bath everyday. Remember to apply sunscreen at least factor 30 when you go out.
