It seems that technology is getting better and better through time. You see so many new inventions today which you saw in one of the sci-fi movies that you might have watched 10 or 20 years ago and you thought it was just too fictional. It seems that technology seems to be too complicated nowadays. But when you take a closer look, you’ll find out that you just need to understand the jargon being used by the industry so that you will be able to understand and choose the best gadget that you want to have.Television, for example is now offering various products which customers have to choose from. There are televisions called CRT and HDTV. When you are not familiar about those terms, you would probably wonder what those classifications are for and it can be complicated for you. I guess, today’s generation is past the days of buying CRT TV. We’re now into the generation of HDTV, which includes the LCD (liquid crystal display) , plasma and DLP (Digital Light Processing) . Sounds strange, right? These 3 types of HDTV uses different materials that makes it different from each other. LCD uses crystal, plasma uses inert gases, and, DLP uses chip containing millions of small mirrors. All of these have one thing in common – to create high quality television image.
